I played Cavanaugh this morning (7/12) and paid the weekend rate of $36 to walk. The fairways and the greens are in excellent condition right now. The ruff on the hillsides are a little grown out which made the course a little more difficult but overall, not too bad. I still think Cavanaugh is still one of the better city courses to play.  |

Played with RWT and Shank today and took advantage of the Fall Golf Savings. The included fountain drink came in handy with the humid weather that we've been having. The course conditions were a little squishy and the greens were really soft. Approach shots had to be dropped pin high due to the lack ball roll and the greens were rather lumpy from the recent plugging. Other than all that, it was a nice day out on the course. I just wish I could have made a few putts!  |
